What type of visa is needed to study in Ireland?
If you´re a citizen of a country outside the European Union and you want to immigrate to Ireland as a student, you will have to enroll in a course lasting at least 25 weeks in any of the above mentioned study programs and apply for a student visa. With this visa you will be able to work 20 hours while studying and 40 hours during holiday periods. Depending on your nationality, you will have to demonstrate available financial funds to apply for this visa.
If you´re a citizen of a country within the European Union you will not need any type of visa to study and work in Ireland.
